ABOUT US

GS   Institute   is   a   Kenyan   firm   specialising   on   development   planning,   training, implementation and evaluation.  The  firm’s  mission  is  to  enhance  development partnerships  by  applying  a  holistic,  participatory  approach   in  training,  project planning, and project implementation and evaluation systems.  

Its communication, people based approach brings together the beneficiaries, donors, NGOs, government and other development agents to the planning process paving way for a consensus- based, participatory implementation of the planned activities. This process has been developed through the Firm’s experience, which is over two decades. The result is the  successful  implementation  of  development  interventions  and  higher  impact  in improving  the  situations  of  the  target  beneficiaries.  The firm’s  team  of  planning professionals possesses high-level skills in participatory planning tools, the Logical Framework, Project Cycle Management, the Balanced Score Card and the Theory of Constraints in planning and management.

The  Firm’s  implementation  and  evaluation  capacity  is  backed  by  strong  widely experienced  in-house  expertise.  It  is  for  this  reason  that  the  GS  Institute  has been able  to  attract  a  wide  scale  of  clients,  not  only  here  in  Kenya,  but  also  in  Uganda, Tanzania,   Ethiopia,    Nigeria,   Somalia,   Eritrea   and   Zimbabwe   amongst   other countries.   Clients   include   NGOs,   Donors,   Government   Ministries,   projects   and development     programs,     Government     parastatals,     internationally     mandated institutions of higher learning and international umbrella organisations.
